How do I get to the Island?
Geographically close to the North American mainland, each Dominican Republic airport also serves as a gateway to the rest of the Caribbean.
The popular north coast is served by the Puerto Plata International Gregorio Luperon Airport (POP) and the new Samana International Airport (AZS). POP has regular daily flights from North America and Europe. AZS, the closest airport, has flights from Canada only and is a great airport for flying private.
Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) near the capital city Santo Domingo and Santiago (STI), although a bit further away, are also both viable options.
There are daily regular direct flights from Miami and New York.
Our guests frequently fly with Jet Blue, American Airlines, Delta and Continental or private jet.
